I picked up DIY Album Art: Paper Bags And Office Supplies yesterday when I was at Needles & Pens here in SF picking up issue 53 of Cometbus with Jon Cheese.
As soon as I started looking at it I had to have it. The book showcases the DIY copy and paste style that labels like Gravity, Tree Records, and many of the bands such as Indian Summer, Frail, Ordination Of Aaron, Angel Hair, Mohinder as well as many others were doing in the 90′s. I was really happy to see so many records I love so much in the book living next to each other. The quality / production of the book is great. I mean Jon and I got REALLY nerdy when we started looking through it, just saying.
